Kaitangata Black Gold Digital Strategy project supported Kaitangata “A Living History” as the first step in the process of recording our  valuable oral history.

This project was a partnership between - Kaitangata & Districts Community, Kaitangata Primary School, Clutha District Council, Waikoau Ngai Tahu Runanga and Balclutha Genealogy Society.

An open invitation to the community to share their stories,all material, including print and pictorial records will be digitally captured and archived to be accessible by people with a genuine interest in history for the future.
