Black Gold "Off Your Trolley" Derby 11.4.10
The second Black Gold "Off Your Trolley" Derby was held on 11.4.10.
A beautiful day on City Forests Whites Road brought out the competitors and spectators.
The 23 competitors were racing on a very dry, fast track. Records were broken with the overall fastest run of the day made by Gavin Sutton with a time of 1 minute 29 seconds, 10secs faster than last years fastest time.
Judges -Beau Williams (Chairman of the Kaitangata & Districts Promotions Group) and Hamish Anderson (Clutha District Deputy Mayor) had the very difficult task of choosing the Most Original Trolley, won by Cody Murdoch and the Best Presented Driver and Trolley, won by Camden Jacobs.

Tanya Grant of the Balclutha Police, spent the day recording the racers speed with a Laser gun-the fastest speed of the day was recorded by Callum Deans with 68kph
